Rural Mental Health Network in Hinton

The Rural Mental Health Network (RMHN) in Hinton is a vital partnership between the Canadian Mental Health Association and various rural communities. Through community engagement, trained Community Animators from CMHA actively involve community members, organizations, volunteers, and resources to collaboratively develop strength-based solutions tailored to the mental health support needs of each unique rural area. Hinton is fortunate to have a dedicated team of animators who guide our action team, helping to bring their ideas and projects to fruition while securing funding to meet our goals.

Volunteers are the backbone of our Action Team. If you are interested in enhancing community mental health, we invite diverse voices to join our table, where your questions and perspectives can greatly contribute! For more information, please call FCSS at 780-865-6036 or BRIDGES at 780-865-4464.

Promoting the continuum of mental health support within our community engagement initiatives gives us the tools and language to discuss stressors, behaviors, or symptoms without stigma. It also teaches us how to respond when we notice or experience a struggle or setback, reinforcing the mission of Hinton RMHN.
